I started a joke,
나는 농담을 시작 했습니다.
which started the whole world crying,
그것은 나의 모든 삶이 슬퍼지게 했지만
but I didn't see
나는 알지 못했습니다.
that the joke was on me, oh no.
그 농담은 내가 한 것이었다는걸...., 오~~ 안되요.....

I started to cry,
나는 울기 시작 했습니다.
which started the whole world laughing,
그것은 나의 모든 삶을 웃음거리로 만들었습니다.
oh, if I'd only seen
오~,만약 내가 알았더라면...
that the joke was on me.
그 농담은 내가 한 것이었다는걸......

I looked at the skies,
나는 하늘을 쳐다 보았습니다.
running my hands over my eyes,
손으로 눈을 비비면서.....
and I fell out of bed,
나는 침대에서 떨어 졌습니다.
hurting my head from things that I'd said.
내가 말한 것들은 나의 머리를 아프게 했습니다.

Till I finally died,
마침내 내가 죽을때 까지
which started the whole world living,
그것은 나의 모든 삶을 지배했습니다.
oh, if I'd only seen
오~,만약 내가 알았더라면...
that the joke was on me.
그 농담은 내가 한 것이었다는걸......
